About Ocean Essentials

Ocean Essentials is above all the story of a team of board sports enthusiasts. The adventure begins in 2020, after having traveled the world and worked for one of the majors in the boardsports industry. Clément the founder puts his suitcases back in France, and decides to join forces with a childhood friend.

The idea is to offer an alternative to the distribution model found online and also in physical stores. The stores are then multi-brand and multi-sport. It is difficult to find what you are looking for, especially when it comes to technical products .

The main players on the web have become giant catalogs like Amazon and are always offering more products, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find your way around and to get precise advice. Meanwhile, physical stores are slow to digitize.

After having worked for almost 10 years for Starboard and Sevenre, the idea is to put this experience to good use. The first Ocean Essentials store born in 2020, a 100% online store dedicated to the Australian brand Severne.

Success is immediate, with stock and a personalized experience, there's something for everyone, so why not try with other brands and other disciplines. A 100% Foils shop is born in 2021, then one for surfing and one for SUP.

Today Ocean Essentials is about ten online stores, each one specializing in a discipline with always the same recipe: stock, fast delivery and customer service available 7/7.
